There are an impressive 303 fandom nominations, 1748 ship nominations and 321 freeforms!

If you have missed out on nominations I'm happy to add one ship or freeform tag for you. Please comment below with the exact tag as it should appear in the set.

Tags I will be cleaning:

- misspelled tags
- duplicates

You can assume these will be cleaned as I see them/am told about them!

Amalgamating:

At the moment I'm leaning towards doing very minimal amalgamation/tidying, for two reasons:
1) it's easier on my end to not have to review/edit a lot of tags
2) I'd rather people have as much flexibility as possible in order to keep the exchange fun/useful

I will likely be rewording some tags slightly for the sake of organisation, for instance so all of the "[doing x] while pining" tags are together under "pining while [doing x]", and changing "A and B" to "character A and character B" (as long as the word limit will allow me).

I am unlikely to be doing any amalgamating or moving of relationship or fandom tags, unless there is a pressing need.

Immediately after nominations closed I realized that maybe "Pining for emotionally unavailable husband" should be "Pining for emotionally unavailable spouse" so more people could maybe use the tag?

I looked for duplicates and found a few:

Pining while in a Friends With Benefits arrangement
Pining while trying to be Friends-with-Benefits

Pining for character in an arranged marriage to someone else
A Pining for B who is in an Arranged Marriage with C

And here is a tag with a typo:

Yes, although I realise I should make the "pining" one "one-sided pining". I wanted to make sure if people wanted mutual pining or one-sided pining they could request it.

I'd delete the first, so the remaining tag matches the (pining Garak) format of the other tag.

Character A incorrectly assumes Character B knows that A is pining for them
They Couldn’t Possibly Be Oblivious Of How I Feel So I Assume They Must Not Be Interested

The second tag covers the first situation and A being correct in their assumption. There is also Character B knows A is pining but pretends to be oblivious in the tag set which feels like it also overlaps.

I think these cover slightly different situations (the key part of the second one is "assume they must not be interested" IMO), so I'm happy to keep them separated, unless anyone thinks there will be a problem with doing so?

My issue was that the second tag covers the situation in the first tag and I would prefer there were separate tags for A correctly and incorrectly assuming B isn’t interested in them but I’m not the nominated for either.

This is an unfortunate bug on AO3's end since these pairings are actually from a canon based on an Original Work from AO3 (which has since been removed), and AO3 automatically filters the pairings into Original Work. Since they were accepted that way I don't think I can change the category, however they are also under the proper fandom tag as well, so hopefully that will be ok.

I nominated the first one without being able to go through the tagset and the second one is much better phrased and covers what I want exactly, so I'd be okay with the first one being removed from the tagset.
