Update: Nomination clarifications

If you haven't seen elsewhere, the tag set is now open for nominations (a little early due to IRL deadlines changing).

I'm updating it fairly frequently, so if you have any nominations still unreviewed, please double check to make sure it's in the correct format:

- for romantic relationships: Character A/Character B (Character A pining) OR Character A/Character B (Character B pining) OR Character A/Character B (both pining)

- for non-romantic relationships: Character A & Character B (Character A pining) OR Character A & Character B (Character B pining) OR Character A & Character B (both pining)

- for multiple relationships: Character A & Character B & Character C (Character A & Character B pining) OR Character A/Character B & Character C (Character A pining) etc

A few nominations have been submitted which don't have the ([character] pining) element - if you've done this, please edit your nominated ships!

Some nominations have also been submitted with (either pining) - these need to be changed to (both pining) or separated into two separate ships with (Character A pining)/(Character B pining) for the sake of correct matching. I will add this to the FAQ.

Are original works nominations allowed?

Yep! As long as you also indicate which character in the pairing is pining, as with the other ship nominations. :)

My "Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)" nomination is appearing only under "Star Wars Prequel Trilogy," and is approved that way under my nominations: https://archiveofourown.org/tag_sets/3076/nominations/108319

I've seen wandering tags before, but this is new to me. And my "Star Wars: Rebels" nomination is appearing as nominated, without being shunted into "Star Wars Original Trilogy" or any of the other movies set in that era.

Thank you! It's fixed in the tagset, though my nominations page looks the same. What should I do? I'd planned to nominate more in that fandom.

Some of my nominations are still not accepted, specifically several of the ones under the sen no Kiseki fandom. Can you tell me what the problem is with them because I don’t see what the issue is, they’re formatted just like the ones who are accepted.

I can't see any nominations for sen no Kiseki -- have you definitely submitted them? I haven't rejected any fandom nominations at all.

Some of them are in the tag set already so somehow they’ve been accepted. I can send a screenshot if it helps?

Ah weird, I can't see those at all. I think this is a bug with AO3 - it won't always show all of the nominations for some reason.

Can you copy/paste them here so I can paste them into the form and manually add them?

Not the nominator, but the following ship under "Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)" has a few typos: "Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anshoka Tano/Anaking Skywalker (all pining)" should be "Obi-Wan Kenobi/Ahsoka Tano/Anakin Skywalker (all pining)"
